Dianna Effner's Li'L Bloomers

Meet Lily, the very first doll from the new Li’l Bloomers collection designed by Dianna Effner. A little doll full of charm, but also a creation steeped in a particularly moving story.

Before she passed away, Dianna Effner was indeed working on this major new project.

Thanks to her family – her youngest sister KC, her husband and their two daughters – the project was able to continue and finally come to fruition, whilst remaining true to Dianna’s vision and artistic sensibility.

Lily is the result of a wonderful collaboration: Dianna Effner sculpted the mould, whilst the artist Geri Uribe painted the prototype. This doll is therefore a unique creation, continuing the tradition of artist’s dolls for which Dianna was renowned.

The remarkable features of this collectable doll

Standing 25 cm (10 inches) tall, Lily has a medium skin tone, beautiful hand-painted green eyes with a highly realistic effect, and a stunning red mohair wig. Her mouth is slightly parted, delicately revealing her little teeth, giving her face a particularly lively and endearing expression.

Her vinyl body has nine joints – at the head, arms, elbows, legs and knees – allowing her to be posed in a wide range of natural positions. This articulated system is what sets this doll apart from static models: you can position her however your imagination dictates.

Lily is deliberately presented in her delicate lingerie set comprising a camisole and knickers, ready to be dressed as you wish. And good news for collectors: she wears the same clothing size as the 25 cm Boneka dolls, opening up a whole host of possibilities for putting together her wardrobe.
