MOOMIN by Charlie Bears
Here's an exceptional collaboration between Charlie Bears (celebrating 20 years in 2025) and the Moomins (blowing out 80 candles in 2025).
The Moomins, who came straight from the imagination of Finnish author and illustrator Tove Jansson in 1945, are charming, whimsical white trolls who look like hippopotamuses. These simplistic-looking trolls have left a significant mark on Finnish culture and history, but they have also captured the hearts of people all over the world.
The stories of the Moomins not only entertain children, they also reveal profound meaning to adults by highlighting values such as inclusion, diversity, equality, acceptance and community, important pillars of modern Nordic societies.
