With her frank, almost questioning gaze, Asuka immediately captures attention. Her subtle expression, blending gentleness and character, is typical of Nicole Marschollek-Menzner's artistic universe, where each doll conveys an emotion before even telling a story.

Published in only 30 copies worldwide , Asuka is a rare creation, entirely handmade in Germany.

Her long lavender hair contrasts delicately with her lilac eyes and luminous complexion. She wears a simple purple cotton gauze dress, its simplicity enhanced by pretty matching gingham details: a crossover collar and two large bows adorning the pockets. Her black and white striped socks and black genuine leather shoes add a contemporary touch to this poetic silhouette.

Each element of her outfit contributes to Asuka's unique identity, conceived as a harmonious whole where colors, materials and volumes interact naturally.

The Zwergnase universe

The name Zwergnase is borrowed from a famous German folktale. For over thirty years, Nicole Marschollek-Menzner has been designing dolls that deliberately break away from traditional conventions. Her goal is not to create a perfect face, but to capture an emotion, an attitude, a moment in life.

Each doll thus possesses its own personality, conveyed by remarkable work on expressions, textiles and colours.
